How does the CEREC same-day crown process work?

First, we assess your tooth to ensure a CEREC crown is suitable for your needs. Then we treat the tooth, take an impression, and forward the results to our on-site computer.

The computer then sends specs to our 3-D printer, where your tooth crown is cut from porcelain and printed. In the final step, your dentist makes adjustments before cementing the restoration over your prepared tooth. This all happens while you wait!

Reasons You May Need Dental Crowns in Columbus, OH

We use dental crowns widely across dentistry, which is why we think offering them the same day is essential for our patients. CEREC same-day crowns mean no waiting weeks for restorations and no temporaries.

You may need a dental crown if:

  • You have had a root canal infection that compromised the tooth structure.
  • You have a broken or damaged tooth.
  • You are replacing a missing tooth with a dental implant.
  • You are connecting a dental bridge to healthy teeth.
  • You have a flawed tooth you’d like to conceal.
