Walking into a new dental office can be scary. Even for the bravest among us. Will you feel rushed? Will it hurt? Will they listen to your questions and concerns?
We know that many of our patients have these concerns. Which is why, at Clintonville Dental Group, we work hard to make your first visit feel less like like something you’ll dread, and more like catching up with people who care about you. Knowing the details of your first visit may help with any dental anxiety.
Your first visit includes:
- A warm welcome from our friendly team
- A comprehensive exam to assess your oral health
- Digital x-rays
- A personalized treatment plan
- Time to ask questions and discuss your options
Meeting Our Team
We believe that the dentist's office should be a place where you can get dental care and feel right at home. We’ll take the time to get to know you, answer your questions, and make sure you feel comfortable before we begin.
Dr. Kevin Albert, Dr. Gabrielle Berry, and Dr. Jim Haldeman lead our dental team, founded on the following belief: if we wouldn’t recommend it to our own family, we won’t recommend it to you.
Your Comprehensive Exam
After you sign in and get settled, your dental team will do a deep dive into your oral health: teeth and gums. We use tools like digital x-rays and intraoral photos to create a really detailed picture of your dental health. These tools help us spot potential issues early and create a personalized care plan that fits your needs and goals.
Comfort and Communication Come First
You probably don’t think of going to the dentist as a time to relax. But we strongly believe in making you as comfortable as possible at the dentist, which is why we offer cozy pillows, blankets, or noise-canceling headphones. Do you have dental anxiety? We offer nitrous oxide and oral sedation for our patients with dental anxiety, or for longer or more complex procedures. Your comfort matters to us, and we’ll do whatever it takes to ensure you feel at ease.
After your exam, we’ll sit down with you to discuss our findings and review your treatment options. We encourage open communication and want you to feel fully informed about every decision regarding your dental health.
